An On-Line course, under the supervision of ESPRM is going to take place
The course main topic is biomechanical assessment as an important tool for PRM Physicians.

The cost of the course is 247.93 + VAT (Total 300 €) and the IBV has generated for students from ESPRM (ESPRM4R2017).a discount coupon 5% off the basic price.
The platform managers, experts from the Biomechanics Institute of Valencia (IBV) and Politecnico Di Milano Institute (POLIMI), will also be involved in teaching.
IBV and POLIMI are technological centres focused on scientific research, technical assessment and training in the biomechanical field. The multidisciplinary the IB team includes engineers, medical doctors (PRM specialists among others), computer specialists, physicists, biologists, etc
The course is open to all PRM Physicians from Europe and all over the World
From ESPRM viewpoint, the course may be of great interest for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Specialists and trainees The course is aimed to improve specialist knowledge and the use of the innovative technologies so valuable for PRM daily medical practice.

On behalf of all the organizers it is our pleasure to invite you to the 2017 School and Symposium in Advanced Neurorehabilitation (SSNR2017) that will take place in Baiona (Spain) from September 17-22, 2017.
SSNR2017 will provide in depth education on advanced procedures for neurorehabilitation of motor dysfunction, covering -at the basic and advanced levels- practical applications based on innovative neuroprosthetic systems, robotic interfaces and other combinational approaches. This year the Summer School of Neurorehabilitation and the Demove Symposium meet in an intense week to offer you exceptional opportunities to increase your skills and knowledge in the astonishing field of Neural Engineering and Rehabilitation.

Prospective applicants must fill in the Application Form by May 15, 2017. The admission to the SSNR2017 will be decided upon a selection made by the Steering Committee based on the short abstract and CV submitted in the registration form. Earlier registrations will be given priority.
- Early Applications-
Applications received before April 1, 2017 will be given priority. The Steering Committee will select a first group among these early applications. Selected participants will be notified by April 15, 2017 and the registrations must be completed before May 15, 2017.
- Regular Applications-
Remaining positions will be allocated among the rest of applications received until May 15, 2017. Notification of the acceptance will be made by June 1, 2017 and the registrations must be completed before July 1, 201

It is mandatory to provide a title and abstract in the Application Form. After the selection process of the SSNR2017, participants will be requested to send full contributions (2-page abstracts). Authors will present their work (poster or oral presentations depending on the decision of the scientific committee) during the last two days.

Los próximos 21 y 22 de abril de 2017 se celebrará en Barcelona la 2ª edición del curso sobre "Actualización sobre el tratamiento de la disfagia: la electroestimulación neuromuscular + Certificación Vitalstim Plus".
La unidad de Foniatría y Logopedia del Servicio de Medicina Física y Rehabilitación del Hospital de la Vall d'Hebron organiza este curso conjuntamente con DJO GLOBAL, dirigido a logopedas, foniatras y rehabilitadores, con el objetivo de desarrollar habilidades para la utilización segura de la Estimulación Neuromuscular (NMES) en el tratamiento de la disfagia orofaríngea.

Desde el HUIL estamos organizado las IX Jornadas de Cadera del Adulto Joven. El programa consta de dos partes, una dirigida a Traumatólogos “Actualización en cirugía conservadora y artroplastia del adulto joven” , y otra dirigida a fisioterapeutas, médicos rehabilitadores y terapeutas ocupaciones “ Enfoque Multidisciplinar del Síndrome de dolor inguinal (Groin Pain)”.
Esta segunda parte tendrá lugar el viernes 3 de marzo 17, desde las 16:00 horas hasta las 20:00.
